Mário Bismarck

Mário Bismarck is an artist, a Full Professor of Drawing at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, Portugal, and an integrated researcher at i2ADS - Research Institute of Art, Design and Society. He is the PI of the DRAWinU research project at the University of Porto, a study on the uses of drawing across STEM areas. Bismarck was the co-founding editor of PSIAX, a Research Journal dedicated to drawing studies, jointly edited by the University of Porto and the University of Minho. Major research topics comprise the pedagogy of drawing, drawing’s history and theory and drawing across disciplines.
