Cláudia Amandi

Cláudia Amandi is a visual artist, an Assistant Professor at the School of Fine Arts, University of Porto (FBAUP) and an integrated researcher at i2ADS - Research Institute in Art Design and Society. She is a researcher of the DRAWinU project. Past activities included the coordination of the ““Atlas Project: FBAUP's Drawing & Engraving Office”, funded by the Foundation Calouste Gulbenkian. Major research topics include the use of drawing in the artistic process. Amandi’s artistic practice explores repetition processes, with a particular focus on how the mechanical appearance of process displaces the referent from the outcome.
