Marina Vale de Guedes

Marina Vale de Guedes is a Junior Research of the DRAWinU Project, with a fellowship by FCT. Guedes complete her PhD with the thesis “Forensic Drawing – Genealogies and Processes of Drawing in Criminal Investigation”, in which the use of drawing within criminalistic activity was adressed, mirroring the crime investigation and the identification of its authors. Major research topics include the study of drawing within STEM areas, mainly criminology and medicine. Guedes is currently a lecturer in the School of Architecture, Art and Design of the University of Minho and a research at i2ADS – Research Institute in Art, Design and Society of the University of Porto.
