      Abstract

The ubiquity of violence in different strands of human action stresses the fact that violence is more than a repressive process. It is bound to the opening of creative possibilities. As a nexal concept, violence also acts as a lens to inquire about other processes (Rae and Ingala, 2019). This paper explores the relationship between violence and material thinking in drawing practices to trigger new ways of understanding the relationship between human and non-human elements in the territory.
